The Call: Streaming Live This Weekend

This Friday and Saturday, Lou Engle will be hosting TheCall in Sacramento, California. He will be backed up with other guest speakers and worship leaders, such as Rick Pino, Brian & Jenn Johnson, and Matt Gilman. TheCall has been gathering for many years, but is growing stronger and the need for it is growing greater still. In an effort to unite in prayer and fasting to ask for the deliverance of God to come, they are:

“… again summoning thousands of young and old—those who have been marked by The Call’s solemn assemblies and those whose hearts burn for their generation—to gather in Sacramento as consecrated, intercessory representatives from, and on behalf of, California and every state to “altar” their lives, “altar” their states, and “altar” the nation.”

In light of this, we be streaming this event live in the Prayer Room of IHOP-M. It will begin at 9pm on Friday nightand go until 2am on Saturday morning and continue on Saturday, September 4, from noon to midnight. We will be open during both of these time periods and highly encourage you to join the millions attending this crucial gathering for the Church of America.

Top of the Watch Gatherings

Top of the Watch Gatherings
In early March, the Lord began to speak to the Watchmen about gathering together. The Watchmen would come and spend time in the House of Prayer but were feeling disconnected from the other Watchmen. The Lord gave us His plan for Unity. He gave us a plan to gather together for prayer at the Top of the Watch (every three hours). For example, we meet at 6am – 9am – noon – 3pm – 6pm. We started the Top of the Watch Gatherings on February 15th, the same day the 40 Day fast started. We continued the Gatherings after the fast ended. These started the same day as the fast but the Gatherings are a separate entity.

During the Fast
The Top of the Watch Gatherings were a source of strength and blessing. We prayed blessings on one another. Expectation and excitement began to build as we have gathered. The Lord began to pour out His Presence out on us. We would come together and pray the Prayer Directives that the Lord gave us. The joy of the Lord came over us quite a bit.

After The 40 Day Fast
The Top of the Watch Gatherings continue to be a huge blessing for the Watchmen. Worship leaders, singers and musicians along with others in the IHOP are joining the Watchmen for prayer. The Lord is pouring out His Spirit of Prayer in amazing ways. These Gatherings come directly against the enemy’s scheme to isolate the Watchmen and put discouragement on them so they lose heart. The Top of the Watch Gatherings are allowing the Watchmen to have eachothers backs as we pray for one another and look out for eachother. The Joy of the Lord is our strength. Come and join us as we continue to gather.

WATCHMEN ON THE WALL- 40 Day Fast “Break Through to Glory “

This wonderful fast went from Feb. 15th – March 26th, 2010

There are 40+ Watchmen in the House of Prayer – Michiana. The Lord had me call the Watchmen into a 40 day fast. The Lord not only gave us the name of the fast, it was the outcome that He wanted for us. We came together in unity and perseverance to press into the Glory Realm of God. The Lord laid on my heart that if we entered in to the Glory Realm of God, we would not come out of it, we would take it with us.

Description of Watchmen Strategy Meeting – This is a Meeting for all Watchmen and interested visitors that is held on a Saturday morning. These meeting are held every 6-8 weeks and go from 10:00am – 12:30pm. We share vision and direction from the Lord for the current season that we are in.

Bob Deering, Founder of Voice Ministries, came and shared a message on the False Justice System and how that fuels us to fast and pray. I share some highlights from the Watchmen fasting and praying together. I shared some of the revelation we received during the fast.

Dawn DeHaven led us ina time of worship as we had the Communion elements available. We also had two Foot Washing stations available. Many of the Watchmen washed each others feet in humility and grace.

We then went and had a meal together. The watchmen brought food to share. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and unity.It was a blessing to bless and serve one another.

Here at IHOP-Michiana, we are committed to create a room that sustains an atmosphere of prayer and worship to the throne room of God. In the future, our goal is to have this room open 24/7, but until that day happens, we do have quite a few hours open every day – from 6am to 6pm Monday – Friday and then several evenings as well. Evening Teams

If you want to come in the evenings to the House of Prayer, we do have several evenings each week where we are open with live worship. Mondays from 6-9pm, Tuesday following the Meeting Place from 8:30-Midnight, Thursday from 6-10pm, Friday from 7-9pm and late night intercession from Midnight to 6am with several teams during that time as well. We encourage you to come out and support these teams and spend time in worship and intercession! Of course are open Monday -Friday from 6am-6pm!

Evening activities in the IHOP

Great news!

Tuesdays A new classical instrument Worship W/ the Word team is being developed on Tuesday night after the Meeting Place from 8:30-10:00pm led by Evie Exley. Following this team Christina Weldy will be developing a Concert Devotional from 11-12. These slots will be great for worshipping, doing your devotions with the Lord, and soaking in the presence of God.

Thursdays We now have teams from 6-midnight, two of which are intercessory and provide opportunities for anyone desiring to come and intercede and pray at the microphone. (Eric Ward, Eric Exley, Betsy Hulse, and Evie Exley, all leading teams, respectively.) Check out the schedule for more details.

Fridays Rachel Campbell and Still Standing have moved to Fridays from 7-9pm (beginning Oct. 9th)

The Tuesday and Thursday slots have already begun this week – come take part of our new evening worship and prayer in the Prayer Room. Bless you!

You are about to see some major changes happening in our schedule over the next two weeks, whoohoo!

Two changes I would like to highlight that are happening as of this week are:

Extension of Hours: We have extended our hours, so we are now open every morning at 6am. Bob Deering and Tony DeHaven have really committed themselves to opening up our House of Prayer early enough so that our region can come worship, take part in intercession, and enjoy devotional times before their work day begins. We think this is also essential to starting our day in the House of Prayer focused on a Spirit-inspired theme every day.

Thursday night intercession team: Eric Ward is leading an intercessory team on Thursday night from 6-8pm. There are opportunities for rapid fire praying at the microphone, and all of our Watchmen are invited to this meeting in particular in lieu of their regular Thursday night intercession meeting.

Young Adult Internship

As of August 17^th, a young adult internship for intercessors and worshippers aged 14-25 has been started in the House of Prayer, with a current enrollment of 13. In this stage, as we are developing the program, the Holy Spirit instructed us not to actively promote or advertise it, but let Him bring those who are supposed to participate to us by the leading of the Holy Spirit, as well as seek out those He specifically directs us to.

Each intern is required to attend two classes on Monday nights, serve on a team as an intercessor or worshipper, and spend three hours a week in the Prayer Room. There is no time frame for this program and the interns are allowed to leave at any time; however, they are required to meet all the requirements while they are part of the program and are accountable to communicate if they are struggling or unable to meet their commitment. A name for this internship is being decided on now and will be announced in future notices.

Please pray for these young adults as they begin to get a deeper revelation of the key figures they are in God’s plan as we transition into the next age… In their lifetimes they will see a tremendous turn of world events. This internship is essential to equipping them to know their identity, their role, and equip them to stand strong over the course of their life, as well as position them as worshippers and intercessors in our Prayer Room. Pray for their protection, pray against distraction, and pray for their hearts to burn like never before… They are the foundation of worshippers God will use in our House of Prayer…

If you or someone you know is seriously interested in this program, please contact a member of the Leadership Team and we will earnestly intercede about their involvement in the internship.
